The Military BRAT/TCK Library & Research Center is the world’s first physical & virtual collection of culture-specific literature, artwork, music, and research created by and/or about Military Brats and Third Culture Kids. The physical library is in Richmond, Virginia, but is currently closed due to Covid. The library has also been zoned to allow short overnight stays for researchers.

Our library includes:

• fiction and non-fiction film

• fiction and non-fiction books, poetry, and graphic novels

• visual art, sculpture, and mixed media

• music

• theater, and performance art

• scientific research on the Military Brat/TCK subculture

This collection will eventually be digitized and publicly displayed online, to allow worldwide access to the larger Military Brat/TCK subculture, and those who live, work with, and study members of this subculture.

Educational workshops, art camps, and get-togethers designed to raise awareness and explore the Military Brat/TCK subculture will be held throughout the year, as well. And a traveling art exhibit will tour the United States and select international locations.
